Evernote Arch

Implementation 'com.evernote:android-job:1.3.0-alpha06' archWorkVersion = '1.0.0-alpha05' I think, that's a bug in androidX arch implementation, but we use it only for this lib, so maybe it's caused by this lib? An unofficial client of Evernote for Linux. Installation Debian and Ubuntu Install from distribution repository. For users of Debian Stretch (Debian 9) or later, Debian unstable and Ubuntu 17.04+, you may install from the official repositories. This will become the stable release we.

Let me start by telling you a bit about Evernote, in case you’ve never heard of it (which is weird, because this is a quite popular application). Evernote is an application for note-taking, organizing, task management, and archiving. Using it you can create notes using text, drawings, add photographs, audio, or web content. Each note can be tagged, annotated, edited, searched, given attachments, and exported. The application is free to use (but not free, open source software) with monthly usage limits, or you can use a paid plan. Up until recently, Evernote was available for Microsoft Windows, macOS, Android and iOS.

Did you know Evernote has a private beta application for Linux desktops? I didn’t, and I didn’t see an announcement about this anywhere, but today I stumbled upon it. From what I could find, this appears to have been released for at least 1 month.

So what does ‘private’ mean? I’m only guessing here, but I think that only some users have received an invitation to download this Evernote beta application for Linux. That’s because I was able to login without any issues using my free Evernote account. Also, there are no Linux downloads linked anywhere on the Evernote website, other than the download page for the Evernote private Linux beta.

  • Then, create a circle, keeping in mind the shape of the arch. This is the path that your text will curve to. Click on the text tool, and move your cursor over the top square handle.

  • Evernote Web Client. Unfortunately, this fantastic tool runs only on Android, IOS, macOS, and Windows. There is no Evernote app for Linux. There is a web version of Evernote which you can access using your browser of choice, but having a dedicated desktop app have their advantages, and you get the best experience.

Right now, the official Evernote for Linux application seems to only be available as a DEB package (for Debian / Ubuntu / Linux Mint / Pop!_OS and other Linux distributions based on Debian and Ubuntu). That’s because I’ve tried downloading it on Fedora as well, and I was offered a DEB for download, just like on Ubuntu. On other Linux distributions I guess you’ll need to unpack this and install the files manually; also look in the debian/control file for a list of dependencies and make sure you have those installed.

Looking for a free and open source, encrypted alternative to Evernote? Check out Joplin.

That’s all I can tell you right now, because, like I already said, there’s no information about this. Wait, there’s one more thing I need to tell you. The download link. You can download Evernote for Linux private beta by using the button below (DEB packages only, at least right now). Or, if you’re an Arch Linux / Manjaro user, get it from AUR.

Note that starting with the latest version of tusk, they now include a pacman package which can be installed with:

Where ./tusk-0.23.0.pacman is a file in your current directory

I had some trouble with electron 4.x lately.

My solution was a PKGBUILD like this:

I'm using your tusk.desktop file. It's more secure to use the binary version from https://github.com/klaussinani/tusk/releases

I had the warning too, but could update without issues. My repo is just an updated version of this repo, based on liberodark's PKGBUILD, and indeed, tusk-bin is a better package name as it pulls in the debian build from github releases. As the current update for this repo rewrites PKGBUILD to use electron-builder quite differs from the older version, I think it's best to use this aur repo if possible.

@vaal

i have the warning as well. however that shouldn't interrupt the building of the package.besides this and a warning related to $srcdir reference the package currently builds flawless in chroot.

if you still have problems try the PKGBUILD from RPDiep (which should be the tusk-bin package imho)

Hello!

Sorry, Error when update

npm WARN acorn-jsx@5.0.1 requires a peer of acorn@^6.0.0 but none is installed. You must install peer dependencies yourself.

> ERROR: unable to update

Evernote Archive Notebook

There seems to be a bug in tusk that prompts users to download a newer version.

However, there's no newer version in the official website, it looks like a bug.
